Should Navy and Marine Corps ribbons be in the same category

Postby John Asendorf on Wed Jan 26, 2005 11:29 am

What does everyone think? Should the Navy and MC ribbons be in a single category or separate as it is now?

I say yes since it is a SECNAVINST and is titled "Navy and Marine Corps Awards Manual"

I also have to say yes. Most of the awards are for both services, ie "Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal", "Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal", etc......There's only a few that are different, like the good conduct medals.
