2005-1-6 Coded the math, etc. for the AFRM... made the graphics for the hourglasses, the M device and changed the numeral 2 graphic to a more realistic graphic. Note to self, still need to make other numerals. Glad the coding for this is done!
2005-1-7 - Fixed the bronze and silver star appurtenances... added Vietnam Service Medal as recipient of said appurtenances
2005-1-7 found out that there are two sizes of bronze and silver star appurtenances... made the graphic for the smaller ones and changed the appurtenance type for those receiving the smaller appurtenance / added the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (Navy) and the Navy Expeditionary Medal.
2005-1-9 - Entirely recreated the knots graphics for the Army Good Conduct Medal. Ribbon should show correctly now for up to 15 awards of said medal.
2005-1-9 - As the clock strikes midnight, finished Navy Battle "E" appurtenances. Battle "E" complete now.
2005-1-10 - Added GWOTEM, GWOTSM, KDSM. Added Good Conduct Medals for MC, AF, CG and CGR. Foreign Medals added: VCM, KLM(K), KLM(SA), KWSM.
2005-1-11 - Wrote the image map/ribbon name popup code. Hovering over the ribbons shows you the name of each ribbon. Works pretty nicely if you ask me.

2005-1-12 - Implemented 3rd502nd's suggestion to not display an amount text box for those ribbons which never receive an appurtenance.
2005-1-13 - After much sweating and straining of the mind, finally got this worked out. Spent most of the time reworking the array I was passing to the appurtenances function. Worst part about it was the fact that three major changes had to be made to make it work. Changes to the javascript which control the individual items, changes to the form creation function, and then changes to the appurtenances function to accept the differently named field which had the amount of awards in it. Has made for some funny looking variable names now, but the action is better. As a note, this rework of the array should make adding other appurtenances much easier.
2005-1-14 - Happened upon a great page which showed all of the appurtenances for all of the Air Force Ribbons. Very nicely laid out making my job of assigning the correct apprutenances to most AF medals correctly. They should almost all work correctly now.
2005-1-15/16/17 - No major improvements. Drill weekend, sorry. But, with the holiday Monday, I'll be sure to do much. Come to think of it, I did work a little on something that I whink will be quite useful: A "design a ribbon" generator which will make a ribbon according to your specs. This way, Guardsmen can actually design a ribbon from scratch and then save it so I can add it to the rackbuilder... perhaps it will even eventually be able to allow people to create a ribbon unavailable on UR and put it on their rack. 2005-1-18 - Added the rest of the Navy ribbons (13)... still need plenty of appurtenances to go on them though.
2005-1-19 - Changing the way the form is submitted to open a new window instead of having a mess with the Back button and the for reset need. Now opens a page called "Your UltimateRack" with a link to help people to download the image. Coded display page to display with different color background for different services.
2005-1-21 - Meritorious Service Medal now displays OLCs and stars for subsequent awards. Air Force Expeditionary Service Ribbon now displays OLCs and allows for the optional gold braided border.
2005-1-23 - Arrowhead device now works. Thanks 3rd502nd for the suggestion.
2005-1-23 - Added drop-down menu to finished rack page which allows one t change the faux fabric color.
2005-1-25 - Added a checkbox to allow for a promotional line to be added to the bottom of the rack... user can turn off the promotional box. Added many Marine Corps ribbons and some others.
2005-2-1 Added 22 more ribbons, mostly Coast Guard, DoT/DoHS and some others.
2005-2-1 Added the major RVN and ROK and Philippine ribbons and unit citations. Will be writing the "right side" Army stuff tomorrow or tonight. Moved all the Marine Corps ribbons to the Navy and Marine Corps group and closed down the Marine Corps separate group.
2005-2-3 Coded the numerals for numbers above 9... was much easier than I thought it would be. Added very, very crappy graphics for the bronze numerals. Those are going to be a bit of a challenge.
2005-6-21 Registered users can now save their racks on the UltimateRack website. Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal now allows multiple awards. GWOTEM kind of has the Arrowhead device now...

2005-6-23 Finally properly fixed the star issue for the AFEM, unlike other expeditionary medals, this one get no star for the first award. Fixed the GWOTEM, one award authorized, arrowhead authorized.

2005-9-13 Added the first National Guard ribbons as a test. Seems that the compartmentalized "ribbon sets" actually WORKS! Considering creating a "how to make a ribbon set" tutorial so that people can make full ribbon sets all on their own.

2006-3-8 New York, Indiana and Hawaii NG sets added (thanks gjones and PA-SGT). With the help of numerous people (led by Redleg 103), worked on ordering some ribbons. Unfortunately, during the re-ordering I screwed up a bunch of ribbons with apostrophes in their names... meh. Also, created a backup schema backing up the site to my home computer on a daily basis so I can go back and grab stuff I've screwed up if needed in the future.
