/**************************************************
To create a ribbon set of your own, you will need ribbon graphics and the order
of their precedence.
A proper ribbon set will have:
1. A single, individually named directory/folder which will hold
all the files for the set.
2. This file, properly editted for the specific ribbon set.
3. All of the graphics for the ribbons in PNG format. Ribbons can be created
by using the UltimateRack Ribbon Creator located at
http://ultimaterack.ajandj.com/tests/test_creator.php
(If additional colors are needed, please contact John Asendorf to add colors
to the creator)
HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN RIBBON SET
1. rename the folder to a very individual name.
!!! NO SPACES !!! (use underscores)
IMPORTANT! National Guard sets should be named using the following
convention: ng_##_statename Hence, Alaska would be ng_02_alaska
A list of states and their corresponding numbers can be found below.
2. Create the graphics. Currently, UR only uses PNG graphics which are
105 x 30 pixels. Small graphic file sizes are crucial to the performance
of the application. No ribbon needs to be over 2KB, so if your graphics
are larger than that, go to the message board and ask for help.
Graphics should have very specific file names,
such as "AK_Legion_of_Merit.png".
3. Put the graphics in the directory/folder.
4. Alter this file:
a. Change the contributor variables to your name and email, get some credit!
(email addresses will not be displayed)
b. Change the set_name variable to what should be displayed as the name of
ribbon set.
c. Change the name of the Ribbon Array variable. It MUST BE the same name
as the folder/directory name. So, if the folder was named ng_02_alaska
you would change "$sample" to "$ng_o2_alaska"
d. Add a line for each ribbon to the ribbon array
(make sure to delete the samples)
THE SYNTAX OF THESE IS VERY IMPORTANT. MISSING COMMAS or PARENTHESES will
cause the program to fail.
There are 12 items in each ribbon entry. In order they are:
SPECIAL INDIVIDUAL RIBBON IDENTIFIER
Please use a 4-8 letter identifier for this ribbon. NG Ribbons should
use the two-letter state abbreviation followed by the first letters of the
ribbon's name. For instance, the Alaska Legion of Merit might properly be
identified as AKLOM
1. Ribbon Name
2. Ribbon graphic name - CASE SENSITIVE
3. Authorizing Force (See list at bottom of this file)
4. Device Type 1 (See list at bottom of this file)
5. Device Type 2 (See list at bottom of this file)
6 - 10. Order of Precedence for Army, Navy, Marines,
Air Force, Coast Guard... respectively
(See note at bottom of this file for important ordering conventions)
11. Right Side Ribbon 1(yes) or 0(no)
5. Zip up the folder with this file and graphics in it and send it to John
(you gotta get the zip file and open it to see the email address)

ORDER OF PRECEDENCE NUMBERING CONVENTION
Every ribbon has 5 order of precedence slots. They are for the order of
precedence for Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard, respectively.
Every ribbon in UR has an order of precedence. Depending on the service
selected by the user, ribbons are ordered by one of these numbers. Each of the
numbers act independently from each other and only ONE (per ribbon) is used for
each rack creation (the one which corresponds with the user's service selection).
National Guard ribbons typicall appear at the bottom of the rack. So, until I
come up with a way to help those who have gone from one state NG to another, the
following order of precedence will be necessary:
EVERY NG ribbon will be a five digit number in the 30000 range. The first
digit will be a 3. The second two digits will correspond with the state number
listed above. The last two digits will be the order for that state. The lower the
number, the higher the precedence. Separate by 5 to make future additions easier.
Example 1:
Three ribbons from Ohio: The Really Great Ribbon, The Great Ribbon and
the Good Ribbon. All five services wear them in the same order of precedence.
Their order of precedence in all five slots would be:
Really Great Ribbon - 33505 (3 - NG; 35 - OH number; 05 - high precedence)
Great Ribbon - 33510
Good Ribbon - 33515
Example 2:
Four ribbons from Massachusetts: The Flying Ribbon, The MA Army Great Ribbon,
The MA CG Great Ribbon, the MA Good Ribbon - Those who were Army NG and are
now CG NG and have received both the MAAGR and the MACGGR would wear the MACGGR
above the MAAGR and vice versa (current service precedence).
Their order of precedence:
MANG Flying Ribbon 32105,32105,32105,32105,32105
MANG AGR 32110,32110,32110,32110,32115 <- notice last number (CG precedence)
MANG CGGR 32115,32115,32115,32115,32110 <- notice last number (CG precedence)
MANG Good Ribbon 32120,32120,32120,32120,32120
